600 Brazilians Have Watched Googled
Thanks to Dave the Game’s efforts, Googled has over 2000 views…600 of which come from Brazil.
I’ll be posting more productions photos. But this first one is probably one of my top 5 production photos of all time. And, it’s from when we shot Googled. I have no idea what made Adam make that face, but it definitely says “The fake Google van is ready to go.” All I really remember was severe car sickness. The a/c didn’t get turned on till 6 hours into the shoot. It was the hottest day of the year so far, in a van, watching tiny video screens–I already have problems with car sickness without the extreme heat/ tiny screens helping.
There were 4 cameras. 1 out the back (still), 2 out the front (still and video), and 1 out the right hand side (video).
Everything–with the exception of some of the highway footage–was shot on June 7, 2008. With 4 cameras, it amounts to over 30 hours of footage! The reshot scenes were filmed the same day as Moon Clip #2 with Mike Fink.

This is a 7 year old camera! It probably shot the opening sequences of downtown Providence.

Adam and Andrew Russell. We eventually switched the front facing camera and side camera...because the best camera should definitely be facing out front.
