They Have Some Test Footage

Shot without a tripod–sorry about that. New Canon 7D camera shoots 1080p video. Looks pretty good for shaky, non-color corrected video. Hopefully will be using this camera on a new self directed project soon and getting to put it through its paces!

They Fixed it Up

Video Interview with D&D Creative Manager Chris Perkins just went live at Critical-Hits.com. Fixed a few small problems. The very prominent green soda can being the greatest of the problems. Since this is for the web, reframing and cropping can be exploited. The can never moves, so a small adjust mask also helps make the can less prominent. With more time, I could have possibly moved Nicholas and Chris a little close to each other!

They Were At Providence Pecha Kucha #11

Getting back into the swing of networking again with Pecha Kucha #11 in Providence. Great round of presenters, a mayor running for congress, a woman entrepreneur, a 6th graders and an employee union! How else can you see all these things in one place in just 2 hours?

Ms. Stephanie, presenting the theme “in the process of hatching.”

Mayor David N. Cicilline presenting all the artistic and job-creating programs he’s initiated, mostly while wearing a yellow tie.

Michael Stewart, showing off the writings and artwork of a limited edition book he worked on. Truly awesome! Wish I could review the info on this. I think the book was called ‘Sebestian.’

Presentation by some of the members of UNITE. An union supporting hotel employees. Their message very well coordinated with just six minutes and so many stories and members to highlight!
