Still flying on high on winning the contest with GR Select! So very, very proud of the entire crew. Since the 48 Hour Film Project of ‘07, I’m constantly been amazed at the creativity and resourcefulness of the members of They’re Using Tools! The foundation of this win was built on 3 years of hot summers, low-paying music videos, something called a variac (it’s not a robot), overnight crews in their pajamas, green screening in barns, killing unicorns early in the morning (twice!), subverting Google’s empire, lawnmower monsters, a whole ‘lotta sand, and endless appetite for experimentation. Thanks so much, I’m so very proud of all of you.

I’ve tried to include a photo of everyone that participated. And you should definitely check out all the production photos on Facebook. I’ve also included a group photo of They’re Using Tools. It’s only the 09 group shot, but there have about twice that many awesome people involved over the years. I know I missed Dan M. and Greg L. in the current production photos, but we have enough of a backlog that I just grabbed something from another shoot. As always, Rufus is not pictured.
